7 The Wharfage occupies a wonderful position in the heart of historic Ironbridge, just moments from the River Severn and the many shops, cafés, restaurants and attractions that make this one of Shropshire’s most sought after locations.

Ironbridge sits within the beautiful Severn Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its striking landscape, rich industrial heritage and, of course, the world famous Iron Bridge which was completed in 1779. Today, the town combines fascinating history with a vibrant community and remains one of the area’s most distinctive and desirable places to live.

The property itself is full of period charm, with high ceilings, sash windows and a wealth of character throughout.

A welcoming entrance hallway provides access to the ground floor accommodation, which includes a living room, dining room, kitchen and cloakroom, together with a door opening out to the rear garden and stairs rising to the first floor.

The living room features a beautiful period fireplace and enjoys an outlook to the front, while the separate dining room is bright and airy and also looks towards the front of the property. An opening leads through to the kitchen, which is fitted with a good range of wall and base units together with space for appliances. Completing the ground floor is a useful cloakroom with a period style WC and wash hand basin.

On the first floor, a galleried landing gives access to four bedrooms and the family bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are generous doubles and three of the bedrooms enjoy attractive views towards the River Severn. The bathroom is again in keeping with the character of the property and features a roll top bath with claw feet, pedestal wash hand basin, high level WC and separate corner shower.

There is also access via a space saver staircase to a useful attic storage area.

Outside, the rear garden is arranged over several levels and offers a lovely mix of patio and lawned areas. Immediately outside the property is a paved seating area, with steps leading to a raised lawn and a further paved terrace beyond, creating a sunny and private space for relaxing or entertaining.

There is no private parking with the property, however residents are eligible to apply for parking permits from the local authority, allowing free parking within nearby council operated car parks.
